Welcome to 'OUR' jungle - and we hope that it can become yours too.

Cherry Collectables is run by a small team of enthusiasts and a large number of volunteers.  The small team includes Grayson White, Renee Duncan and Charlie Oxley and just so you get to know us a little better here is a few words about each of us.

Grayson White

Born into horse racing and raised on a diet of Transformers, NBA and pizza one might say I never stood a chance.  Adolesence was kind to me as I developed the looks of a youthful Patrick Swayzee and the co-ordination"Adolesence was kind to me as I developed the looks of a youthful Patrick Swayzee" of a spider monkey but in a cruel twist of fate I awoke one morning to the realisation that I suddenly had an unsightly poor mans fro and an uncanny resemblence to the director of Old School.

Outkast by the mainstream ever since, obviously -  I went on to develop a taste for the obscure and collectable and have since managed to surround myself with a mint generation one Transformer collection, a ridiculously big catalogue of DVD's and I have now embarked on re-igniting a passion of the cardboard variety in developing Cherry Collectables with a girl I met on a seedy corner of some dark lit street in Victoria - you can call her Renee.

Renee Duncan

Hey all! A self-confessed She-Ra fan, yes I did have the costume growing up, I’ve been introduced back into the wonderful world of cards, comics and cartoons by Grayson! By day, "self-confessed She-Ra fan, yes I did have the costume"I’m a lab rat – trying to finish my PhD, which I may rename PPPhD (Preeeetty Preeeetty Pretty Hard Degree) and by night I’m the organisational department of Cherry Collectables.

A Melbourne-girl, who was bought up in a milk bar between the age of 0-5 years old we got all the cool collectable stuff first, whether it be trading cards or the free stuff in newspapers and magazine – I had ACCESS ALL AREAS! I’ve collected the usual things growing up in the 80s: coins, stamps, stickers!!! In the 90s I collected cards like Beverley Hills 90210 (don’t tell me you didn’t!!), Lion King, Basketball and AFL – even POGs for a while too. Fav movies were TMNT, Star Wars, Flight of the Navigator and who could forget The Goonies. These days the collections are more angled towards DVDs and Blu-Rays. Top 5: Gran Torino (I LOVES Clint), Pan’s Labyrinth, 2 Days in Paris, Wedding Crashers and Ricky Gervais’ Extras. I hope you love the site, because we love it!
