Apart from being awesome athletes who people love to watch what do these 2 basketball legends have in common with a rookie football player?
They're handsome.
Now stay with me because I've got a theory and it's something that could pay off.
Could you scan the rookies for every new basketball, baseball and football season for the most handsome rookies and get ahead JUST by buying handsome players? Forget their performance - just their looks.
Science says that attractive people often do better professionally than "normal" looking people so why wouldn't that translate to sports.
If we look at some of the more successful athletes from the past and the current day many of them could (and some have) been models in their down time:
Jordan? Handsome.
David Beckham? Handsome.
Kobe? Handsome.
Tom Brady? Handsome.
Zion? Amazing smile.
Luka? Handsome.
Tiger Woods? Handsome.
What if THE card investing strategy is just to collect the cards of the most handsome rookie and wait?
Now is the part where we can do our own science experiment.
Trevor Lawrence is a rookie joining the Jaguars at QB this year and has been called a "Fabio's love child" by almost the entire hobby. The dude is handsome.
If he succeeds in the NFL we will know for sure that our theory is correct.
