As part of his visit to Melbourne Vlade will host this exciting 3 on 3 basketball challenge at the Docklands Community Sports Courts. This Charity Fundraising event is in aid of supporting the important humanitarian work of the Ana and Vlade Divac Humanitarian Foundation. Vlade Divac is well known for his successful career as a professional Basketballer having played in the United States of America in the National Basketball Association. Vlade began his successful basketball career in 1986 in his hometown of Prijepolje, Serbia. It didn't take long for Vlade's skill to be recognised through numerous tournaments before he was drafted in 1989 by the Los Angeles Lakers where he was further mentored by Magic Johnson and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and adapted to the American style of the game.
