Still the home for modern foil design, the 2021-22 Panini Revolution Basketball release is much the same for a Revolution product but brings a novel look to the standard Basketball cards of late.
Moving away from traditional hits, the 2021-22 Panini Revolution Basketball is focused rather on limited parallels and inserts. No autographs are guaranteed, but in each 40-card Hobby Box expect to find 4 x inserts and 8 x parallels along with 4 x Rookie cards
2021-22 Panini Revolution Basketball Overview
Bold and abstract design styles are part and parcel of the Revolution line and this release doesn’t disappoint in the design element.
Top veterans and the most recent rookie class are featured amongst a base set with some notable parallels.
Almost identical to last year’s release are the included parallels with one new add-on for the NBA 75th Anniversary (#/75) edition. All parallels will combine to fall one per pack.
Parallels include Astro, Groove, Fractal, Impact (#/149), Cosmic (#/99), NBA 75th Anniversary (/#75), Sunburst (#/60), Cubic (#/50) and Lava (#/10). The rarest pulls return with the Galactic version parallels, and while not numbered they do have serial numbers.
Looking for parallels not available elsewhere? Grab a Chinese New Year box to find up to 12 unique parallels. Look for Chinese New Year base Chinese New Year Emerald (#/88) and Chinese New Year Holo Gold (#/8).
2021-22 Panini Revolution Basketball Inserts
You’ll likely find one insert for every other pack (there’s four in each hobby box), which will mimic the same foil foundation and patterned design of the base cards. Look out for the die-cut option including super short print Star Factor which debuts this year, along with the more common inserts of Liftoff!, Rookie Revolution, Shockwave, Supernova and Vortex.
Also new this year is the Prime Time Performers which are also quite rare to pull and super short prints.
2021-22 Panini Revolution Basketball Autographs
While not guaranteed, there are still a few autos to look for in the 2021-22 Panini Revolution Basketball release. In both the Autographs and Rookie Autographs cards, fans can find parallels Fractal (#/100), Infinite (#/25) and Kaleido (1/1)
