Tradition continues with the chrome selection coming from the main Donruss line in the 2021 Donruss Optic Football.
A favorite for NFL card collectors, the rookie cards are bold with many inserts to chase, and the line features quite a few updates.
Each hobby box promises one autograph, four inserts and ten parallels of which eight are serial numbered.
2021 Donruss Optic Football Base & Inserts
A 300-card set provides for the league, including 100 Rated Rookie cards featuring new talent while veterans cover the remaining 200 cards.
Standard for the line, many parallels abound.
Hobby options include: Holo, Aqua – /299, Orange – /199, Blue – /179, Silver Circles – /125, Red – /99, Pink Velocity – /79, Purple – /50, Lime Green – /35, Black Pandora – /25, Ice – /15, Gold – /10, Green – /5, and Gold Vinyl – 1/1.
The new Ice edition is numbered to 15 with Hobby boxes offering 10 parallels (8 serial-numbered) and H2 boxes feature the exclusive Red Mojo RR cards that average four per box.
Inserts are set to average 4 per Hobby box, with the short-print Mythical as a tougher set on the checklist featuring 25 of the best players in the league.
New options to find include Gifted Rookies, Globall, Legendary Logos, and Rising Sons. While the popular insert Downtown returns to showcase top players, rookies and former Super Bowl champs. Parallels show up in three levels: Black Pandora -/25), Gold -/10 and Gold Vinyl -1/1.
Retro Series (25 cards) and The Rookies (20 cards) are among the other inserts that can be found.

On-card signatures are featured in the Rated Rookie RPS Autographs and with print runs of no more than 150 copies and quite a few low-numbered parallels. Amongst the parallels are Holo – /125 or less, Blue – /99 or less, Red – /75 or less, Pink Velocity – /50 or less, Purple – /35 or less, Black Pandora – /25 or less, Ice – /15 or less, Gold – /10 or less, Green – /5 or less, Gold Vinyl – 1/1.
If you’re looking for something in shorter supply, the Legendary Patch Autographs and Rookie Patch Autographs (both #/25 or less) are amongst the harder to find.
Both of these sets offer a Gold Vinyl (1/1) parallel.
