Retro colors and designs abound in the high-end chromium release for 2021 Spectra Football.
Autographs and memorabilia are plentiful in the new Panini Spectra Football for 2021 - and so are (big) pops of color and throwback designs and patterns, making this set stand out from the Optic and Prizm lines.
With a mix a of veterans and rookies, the chrome stock has the classic metallic-look and unique designs - and are numbered just up to 149. There’s set to be an auto and memorabilia in each pack - so four of each in a 16-card Hobby box, which means two fewer hits (from 10 to 8) with two less relics per box in contrast to last years release.
The 135-card base set features several new parallels this year, including Celestial, Meta and Neon Splatter. The 2021 draftees are featured in the Rookie Meta where you can find short-print color and special die-cut parallels, and the top of the draft class can be grabbed in the Rookie Patch Autographs Psychedelic with some pretty special parallels to chase.
All base versions, including parallels and variations, will combine to have seven per box with new inserts dubbed Mesmerizing, Neon Nights, Retro Spectacle, and RetroSpect.
Fans can expect each box to have one insert.
On-card autos include Champion Signatures (former Super Bowl winners), Illustrious Legends, and Sky High Signatures (previous NFL greats shown in-action).
Debuting this year in the Autographs is RetroSpect, hard-signed cards that focus on the greatest NFL quarterbacks of all time. And look out for the short-print set of Neon Nights.
First Off the Line boxes will feature a Wave Rookie Patch Auto, 3 additional autos and 4 memorabilia cards, plus one insert and one wave parallel.
With an expected release date of 19 November 2021, fans don’t have too much longer to wait.
