UFC debuts under the Donruss line for the 2022 Donruss UFC release.
The first set of MMA cards for the Donruss brand will sport the same underlying design elements that are known amongst Donruss fans. Reflecting a more traditional or flagship-style setup, these UFC cards will differ greatly to the high-end chrome versions released by Panini.
A substantial checklist abounds with an array of parallels and inserts, many with 60 combined in every Hobby box. Fans can expect 1 x Autograph and 1 x Memorabilia card too.
The 2022 Donruss UFC release offers a look leaning toward nostalgia with the base set containing a few different card styles with an old school feel. Standard fighter cards take up a good chunk of the checklist, but collectors will also find the iconic Donruss subset Rated Rookies.
Hobby exclusive parallels include Holo Laser Black and Holo Laser Gold, amongst many layers available.
UFC announcers and influencers are also featured within the Voice of the Octagon subset. Select cards will showcase rarer autographs with extra ink found n the Signature Series and Rated Rookie Signatures.
Memorabilia opportunities include Octagon Canvas Materials, while inserts will be reminiscent of other Donruss sport releases like football. Take the insert Crunch Time, which mimics a cereal box, or the Octagon Marvels which look like they come straight out of a comic book.
The set size is TBA but there’s a tentative release date of 30 March 2022.
