A checklist brimming with rookies, the 2021 Origins Football release will showcase this year’s draft picks in their full NFL uniforms and with on-card autographs, for the first time ever.
Expect a 100-card base set with a 7-card Hobby Box offering 3 hits per box (1 x Rookie Patch Auto, 1 x Additional Auto and 1 x Jumbo Relic or Patch Relic). Each box contains two limited parallels and two case cards.
Color and abstract design feature heavily in this vivid release. Look for the debut of an early indigenous-style pattern in the case-hit Aboriginal inserts, plus find more on-card content and unusual design styles in Rookie Booklet Patch Autos and Rookie Stars Dual Patch Signatures. Metallic ink signatures can be chased too, with Origins Autographs Gold Ink and Origins Autographs Silver Ink.
Within the Parallels, fans can find Red (/299), Orange (/175), Blue (/99), Silver (/79), Turquoise (/25), Gold (/10), Green (/5) and Black (1/1). And for the return Rookie Jumbo Patch Autographs, look for Red (/99 or less), Orange (/75 or less), Blue (/49 or less), Turquoise (/25 or less), Gold (/10 or less), Green (/5 or less), and Black Nike Swoosh (1/1).
The Autographs are the notable line of this release, of course, and new autograph options for 2021 Panini Origins Football include Origins of Greatness Booklets and Established Signatures. Key offensive positions will be highlighted, with the Passing Stars Autographs for quarterbacks, Receiving Stars Autographs for wide receivers and Rushing Stars Autographs for the running backs.
