Labubu mania is jumping from vinyl shelves to chromium stock. Topps has announced 2025 Topps Chrome® Labubu – 10th Anniversary, celebrating Kasing Lung’s cult-favourite character and The Monsters universe in a glossy, numbered, chase-heavy release. Preorders go live October 20 at 12pm ET (October 21 AEST).

What is Labubu—and why the hype?

Originally appearing in Kasing Lung’s The Monsters series, Labubu exploded through designer-toy collabs (notably with Pop Mart) and has gone properly mainstream in 2025—think pop-ups, world-tour installations and wild secondary-market moments. The Chrome set is timed to the brand’s 10-year celebration and will mirror artwork featured in anniversary installations worldwide.

The Product Snapshot

Topps is positioning Chrome Labubu as a premium, quick-hit rip with a displayable extra in the box:

  • Box format: one pack, five cards total.

  • Card mix per box: 4 Chrome base cards + 1 Chrome parallel.

  • Bonus: a collectible keyring case to show off your pulls—matching the Labubu vibe.

  • Art & IP partners: artwork by Kasing Lung in collaboration with How2Work and Pop Mart.

Chases & Parallels

Expect classic Topps Chrome colour plus Labubu-specific twists:

  • Refractors & sequentially numbered colours

  • 10th Anniversary logo/border treatments

  • 1/1 SuperFractors

  • Artist Autographs
These chase details are highlighted across the Topps landing page and CLLCT’s launch report.

Release Timing & Where to Buy

  • Preorders open: Oct 20 on Topps.com (Topps notes 12pm ET). Australian collectors can typically order via Topps.com (subject to their current shipping policies) or look for local allocations and singles soon after release.

Why this matters for card collectors (not just designer-toy fans)

Topps has leaned into pop-culture Chrome crossovers lately (see SpongeBob, Marvel Disney), and those sets have shown strong initial demand and notable single sales. That precedent suggests Labubu could follow a similar trajectory—especially with a tight checklist, recognizable art, and ultra-rare autos/supers.

Cherry’s Take: How we’d approach this release

  • Chase the parallel you love. With only one parallel per box, target the colour/finish that fits your display aesthetic—or go big game hunting for SuperFractors.

  • Autographs are truly scarce. At 22 per subject, expect a tough pull and early secondary-market volatility.

  • Budget for singles. If you’re after specific characters or art, singles may be the smarter path than ripping multiple one-pack boxes.

  • Display matters. The included keyring case is a fun, ready-to-go flex—great for desk setups and show-and-tell.

Final word

Chrome Labubu blends designer-toy culture with the familiarity of Topps Chrome—clean refractors, real chase, and art that pops on metal. If you’re Labubu-pilled or just want something bold for the display case, mark the date and get ready to rip (or snipe singles).

We’ll update this post with Australian availability and our first look at parallels as soon as product lands. In the meantime, hit the notify links, and get your display shelf ready.
