Fernando Tatis Jr.

Tatis Jr. made his MLB debut in 2019 as a shortstop and immediately lived up to the hype, winning the Silver Slugger Award in 2020 and then signing a 14-year, $340 million extension, locking him in as the face of the team.

Tatis was also named an All-Star in 2021 and won another Silver Slugger before missing the 2022 season due to injury and suspension. This was a major turning point for him.

He returned in 2023 to a new role as right field and won the Platinum Glove, one of the strongest statements a player can make after time away. He followed that with All-Star selections in 2024 and 2025 to establish himself as one of the league's top stars.
