Penny Hardaway

Fans in the 90s will remember fondly when Penny teamed up with Shaquille O'Neal in Orlando to form one of the most promising duos ever. They beat MJ in the playoffs and made the NBA Finals in 1995, where Penny was playing at an MVP level.

He was so good that many viewed him as the next face of the NBA. A 2x All-NBA First Team selection by age 24 is something only a handful of players have ever achieved.

When he was in his prime, he was an all-time great. Unfortunately, that prime was cut short due to injuries, and that's the only reason why he's not mentioned more often among the greatest players of all time.
