In the games and anime, Snorlax is infamous for causing trouble by blocking paths and refusing to budge unless you play it a Poké Flute. But once you wake it up and battle it, you realize it's not just a lazy road block. It's an absolute powerhouse with high HP, surprising agility for its size and devastating moves like Body Slam and Hyper Beam. Snorlax is a core part of many strong teams.

In the anime, Ash’s Snorlax was the MVP — sleeping through most of the action, but when it mattered, it always came through, taking down multiple opponents and then returning to nap with a smile. He had personality, was loyal, lovable, and low-maintenance.
