How do we determine market value? that’s simple too and you can do it yourself right now! For sports & entertainment cards we use Card Ladder, a Collectors company (https://www.cardladder.com). For TCG we use Collectr (https://getcollectr.com/) and Card Ladder.
So, here's what to do:
- Get Comps - Add Post It's, use Notes or add up your bulk BEFORE lining up;

We have some terms and conditions for legal reasons but the main things you should be aware of are:
A) Condition is king - we have to compare apples with apples so please compare raw with raw and PSA 10 with PSA 10 for example;
B) Sales not estimates - If Charizard has won the Nobel peace prize since the last sale… we will still look at the last sale. Market value is about market sales;
C) Comps must be $50+ - This is for no reason other than we need to help as many collectors as possible and if we are comping $5 cards all day we simply can’t do that.
